Hi All,

I’m after some advice regarding the electrical set up on my T28.

In the main the van will most likely be on sites with an electric hook up, with the odd few days being remote.
The question is I see many vans with leisure batteries with inverters and all sorts of wiring and others using a battery hub like the bluetti connected to solar.

My question is if i had a bluetti hub and wanted to connect it to an electrical hook up point can this be done?. I’m thinking this would save me the hassle of running cables etc from the battery to the leisure battery. I could connect the bluetti to a fuse board in the van and run a fridge, a few sockets and lights from that.

I hope this makes sense, please figure the ignorance I’m completely new to this.

Many thanks Andy.

What do you mean by "Bluetti Hub"?

If you mean one of the portable power packs instead of a leisure battery then this is a well discussed topic as there are advantages and disadvantages, Deaky summarised a liat of the common threads here:
