Continued water circulation pumps running - Flat Battery (Resolved)

Now after pulling out all fuses I have lost my locking !! Lights flash but doors stay locked.
I think I need a pint !!! Probably Vodka!!
Ok I assume that I have put something back wrong
with VCDS I unlock doors and all I get is a flash from the indicators . I’m now thinking about a tin opener to get in the back ????

Enjoy your beer,

While chilling take a quick look at the downloads section and the fuse charts.

This may be down to a fuse in the wrong slot.

Take a pic of your fuse boxes before removing any fuses as a base reference.

...

If the fuses are in the correct slots.... Do a BCM reset..

Thanks Bud, since I’ve lost the locking I have this 6F17CAD0-240A-484C-BD5F-6AE99ED653EF.jpeg

Post a few pics of your fuse box.... We can compare.

We can do the same.

@Loz has a nice fuse card to reference.... Though it's based on a calli, so loads of extra fuses compared to a panel van.

The door locks are controlled by the BCM.

here is my SC fuse box for reference. . .

these fuses look the same as mine - green dots.

i have a 2018 PV

the rest i dont have.

what was the central locking issue?

for future reference for other people?

fuse in wrong slot? not pushed in properly?

getting better . . . closer to my readings

+++++++++++++++++++

(remember you need to flick the catches so the van sees all the doors and bonnet etc closed for the van to go sleep properly.

add, current draws:

IGN ON - engine OFF, ------- 8.33A
IGN OFF - van unlocked. ----- 0.06A
IGN OFF - VAN locked. (after 30sec) ------- 0.007A
IGN OFF - VAN locked (after 15mins)(sleeping) ------- 0.029A

Add pics is you can.

++++++++++++++++

normal sleeping spec is 30-70mA

but under 50mA is what's normaly mentioned as you will get a quiesent current fault code around about 50mA and above.

+++++++++++++

IGN OFF - VAN locked (after 15mins)(sleeping) ------- 0.030A or 0.03A to 0.070A or 0.07A

+++++++++++++

ideally below. . . 50mA

IGN OFF - VAN locked (after 15mins)(sleeping) ------- 0.050A or 0.05A

+++++++++++++

So I have now got to the bottom of it (with a massive amount of help from Dellmassive)
one of the problems was the fuse in position SC8 light switch?? It turns out I had 2 things connected into that, one was the power up to the MFSW and the other was the power to the parking sensors I had fitted. When I removed the live feed to the parking sensors the electric water pumps stopped!! It turns out it wasn’t just the pumps as there was a 5 amp drain. It was going in the right direction but still too high. I had also fitted a RNS 510 head unit with an external blue tooth adapter, well this was also draining power.
I now have a van that I can get out of, lock, walk away and it still starts the next day without disconnecting!!!!! Once again a big thanks to Dellmassive for the time and effort.

thats great news. . .

well done for sorting it out.

well worth being a VIP member.

:mexican wave:

i might suggest moving those other feeds over to a IGN feed for now. . . ( centre line of SC fuses )

then one at a time look over the OEM schematics and find the correct fuse location for each new circuit and add in, then test.

keep us posted.

.

have a look at the T6F meet ups, if you can get to any, come find us and have a beer.
