I like that get the buttons to light up and when it comes to selling on I can claim its got every option fiitted.....I knew I should have gone for diff lock and hill decent, might just buy the buttons to look nice!

There is one more thing to remember.....
All the buttons are designed to fit ONLY in their correct position, i.e. they are keyed to the hole in which they fit.
I found one odd switch for my T5 when I installed TPMS, the re-set button for a LHD is fitted in a different place to the one for a RHD vehicle.

Three wires in total. One local ground at the door and then 2 wires to the BCM(of which one is illumination and the other one is trigger).

That is 100% correct, they can't be interchanged.
