Appreciate there probably many threads on this but just wondering what current options are? I’m used to repairing tech…

Can reseating the cables help?

Replace the touch part of panel? If so anyone on here supply?

Prob wouldn’t bother with replacing with same unit as don’t use the NAV, what are people happy with aftermarket? Need CarPlay (wireless would be good), DAB, Card slots etc

Okay, so my input to the topic.

1. Don't use frosty version of digitaliser, use shiny only.
2. Not all shiny ones are the same.
Some shiny are actually a crap quality.
3. For best result don't use provided double sided sticky tape strips.
Remove them and use UV adhesive instead.

Hi guys, thanks for all the solutions in this thread it just so happens that the head unit in my 67 plate sportline has decided to go all bunny boiler, don't fancy 3k for a replacement I'll try soft reboot and a few other things if they don't work it will be an aftermarket replacement, thanks again and have a great weekend

Mine has just started failing also. Freezes on a station and none of the buttons work. Think I'll get something aftermarket with wireless android auto
