Same as the one posted by smr72 ?Get the eBay hinge like I have ordered. It will allow the seat to fold and give you the extra angle on the back rest.

I’m no expert in safety but isn’t the middle seat belt, nearest the driver secured to the seat itself? If so all the force in a crash will be sent to the seat hinges and stays. any cutting, drilling or grinding will surely add to the chances of the seat simply folding forward with the passenger still in the belt.
I don't know Danny. I haven't studied the standard and modified hinge to see how the variation in seat back angle is achieved. I don't know if the hinge has has material removed or not. Just curious. Maybe somebody can compare the two to find out how it's been done.Sorry i was commenting to DieselDonkey. I saw a bracket at the Camper show in Telford being sold by a Scottish chap...a really robust well made piece of kit.
