Dub Dogs, let’s see them :)

Milo didn't enjoy his first ride in the van but after a bloody good walk and some bits of cheese he seems more into it. Last time he was in a van it was hauling him outta Romania so am thinkin the initial trembles are to do with that

Love the scary ghost on Milo’s chest
I’m sure it won’t take long for him to associate the van with long walks.
My dogs won’t leave my van once I’ve started packing just in case they get left

Open the van up and call Milo , each time he jumps in reward him .
You don't actually need to take him anywhere just make him associate getting in with being rewarded .
Ours used to run and hide if we went near the car but now she's desperate to queue up at the door everytime we walk anywhere near it.
She's also learnt that the van often means we're going the beach or park (which she loves) so even a murmur of those words and she's off to sit by the slider and wait for it to open so she can jump in .

After an utterly crap 2024 for me high points being job change January booooo, losing my awesome dog after 11.5 years March and peaking with a Heart Attack in 5 weeks ago at 53 years old ……I am glad to say positivity has arrived on Tuesday with this young fella joining the family called Dexter

Daisy has had her stitches out from her TPLO surgery! We are 2 of the 6 healing weeks down. She gets more xrays on the 28th Nov to see how it's healed.

Had to get something out the van yesterday and Brambles refused to leave it - can't wait to be able to get them back out again.

Here's my old boy Lemmy, sadly missed.

And here's my current boy, Bruce (named for Jack Bruce - I'm a multi-instrumentallist but bass is my main thing and my dogs get named accordingly.)

Both five generations pedigrees from gun dog stock, both with 20+ field trials champions in their lineage. Bruce's Dad in particular is currently one of the most sought after labrador stud dogs in the country. I don't shoot (with them) but I find the mix makes the perfect pet for me.

Have you had your Covid jabs?
Reason I ask is I know a few folk in their 50’s that have taken heart attacks after the vaccination. Fit healthy men.
My wife, mother in law and dad all have been hospitalised with heart problems after their first jabs.
My wife and dad are on medication to regulate their heart beats now.
My wife is 47
Dexter is a cracker.

I had the first vaccine and booster during the pandemic but none since if honest. Heart problems run in my late father’s male family line so maybe that played a part to be fair . I’ve had high BP for years medicated .

Dexter is indeed a cracker our 3rd Boxer love them
