Can't beat a dog's smile!
An absolutely heart breaking day today taking our 15 year old black labrador Zak on his one way journey to the vet.
Having eaten a kilogram of Cadburys mis-shapes as a 2 year old and chewed through a live mains cable around the same time, the vet was amazed he had got to 'old as God's dog' status.
Quite a few of you met him at the forum meets some of you even 'picked up' after him, thanks Linda @Jollyvan !
The house won't be the same.... #dubdogdown....
Lovely to see so many new pups coming into DubDog status on here, apologies for putting a fleeting downer on the thread.

Ultimately it’s the price you pay for years of love, devotion, friendship and fun.
You loose a piece of your heart every time.
RIP Zak.
Telling yourself Zak had a full and amazing life is meant to help but it takes a while for the pain to leave you before you can think of them and smile not burst out greeting.
Sorry to here about Zac Wayne he was a lovely dog.

Ah so sorry to hear of your loss we had to put down our 15 year old springer earlier in the year and it has to be the hardest thing I have ever done. ALWAYS LOVED AND NEVER FORGOTTEN
