EML Light on, VCDS scan implies an SCR fault?

Hi All,
I thought I'd let you know my experiences.
I have a 18 Plate 150 DSG Kombi purchased at 6 months old and has now done 35000 miles. I first had the engine warning light come on a week after the third year service (convenient eh) I took it back and it was reset.
Thereafter I have had the alarm come up 4 times, I have a AutoLink AlL319 OBD reader and the fault has always been P20EE, which I have reset. I have always kept the adBlue tank topped up and the van seems to use it at a constant rate. I have no idea what software the van is running. I use V power diesel were I can and shell or pump adBlue.
But, here is the thing, the engine light has only come on during very long runs when the engine is well up to temperature and ONLY when using cruise control. I don't use cruise control all the time, particularly if the traffic is heavy, today I had completed about 150 miles of fast A road and motorway and when I activated cruise control on the A1 the engine light came on within 10 miles. Read the fault code when I got home, P20EE, so reset it.
Almost at the point of carrying the fault reader with me on long journeys just to get rid of the yellow light glaring at me!
Bit like mine, always seems to come on after a fast road, I carry a carista to reset it but it was getting more regular so now just leave it on! Can't be doing with it, it's been the thing that makes me want to get rid.
 
I have hopefully got rid of this problem by having the engine software updated to 6166 as suggested by MMI. It basically increases the amount of Adblue injected into the exhaust preventing the nox sensor from having a hissy fit. MMI will explain better, it's been covered already in one of my earlier threads.
 
Van went in yesterday for a technical enhancement that I assumed would mean a software update and the end of my P20EE woes, got a call about an hour after the van had got there to say its ready as it didn't actually need an update, I explained the old software on it and was told that the recall was for a pressure sensor and it was the right one fitted anyway, knew nothing about the AdBlue /nox /old software recall and said my 2016 original software was the most recent it needed!

Booked it into a VW specialist now to get it updated by them at a cost of £85
 
Don't be surprised when you're DPF light comes on after it's first regen when having the update to 6166, mine did but went off after doing the 2000 revs for 20 mins.cure. I'm letting it do another couple of burns before it has the remap re-done.
 
I did consider just dropping a new map on it with pendle or revo as they map it to standard first, but i'm going to leave it un mapped for a bit and see how i get on with it.

300 mile trip, eml comes on, typically didn't have my code reader with me so couldn't read and reset for the return journey.

Tried to find out what software it's on but I'm either missing something or it doesn't show.

However, nobody knows what the mapping has done - definitely the software is not the OEM mentioned above anymore.

I recently (2 weeks ago) had my "mapped" 150 CXHA engine on 3771 version to the latest 6166 after many threads and info from MMI, I was getting P20EE all the time.

The van now drives better, regens better and for the first time ever in 2 years hit 50mpg on a run yesterday.

I can honestly say I don't notice that the map has gone.

Cost me £85 at VW indy

Wish I'd done it 2 years ago.
