Engine Check Light - T6 2018

Hi, any advice appreciated

In the heavy rain the other day, I was driving on the motorway when the engine check light came on.

I’ve given it a good run, thinking it was the DPF, which didn’t sort it.

So I have brought an OBD Wi-Fi dongle and have scanned for the DTC and came up with a few errors.

I’m certain it’s due to the rain. I’ve cleared it the below code and the light has gone off, but comes back on a for a few hours later.

I was going to check the sensors on radiator and give them a clean?? Could this sort it, or should it be a trip to the garage??

The stop start battery has also stopped cutting off.

Thanks in advance.

**SOLVED** DTC P2185

It was a frayed wire going into G83 Temperature Sensor.

The wire hadn’t snapped and was still attached but must have been shorting. I put some insulation tape round it and put it back together and all good so far.

The fan is not coming on now from cold and the start stop on the engine works now with no errors.
