Ex RAC T6 broken down- warranty? Fuel Rail / System Pressure- too low

Hi Forum,

Ex RAC T6 bought 3 months ago.

This Friday driving home and vehicle goes into limp home mode.

Flashing coils and engine management system lights come on.

Vehicle looses virtually all power. Doing 10mph with random boosts of short power. Manage to arrive home. Fails to start again.

Management codes are

Fuel Rail / System Pressure- too low

Ideas?

Fuel pressure sensor?. Fuel regulator control valve? Fuel Pump?

Plus any of the above.

Did you manage to sort out what was wrong with your van? Mines going the same except start again at the moment, seems fine then limps.

Glad you got it sorted, hope under warranty as read horror stories of metal filings getting past the filter and clogging everything else up, so sounds expensive.

I was lucky bud. Had nightmare mechanical issues with my ex rac t6. Fuel can pump within 7 months-no filings so injectors were okay but just out of warranty, then alternator within 9 months. Touch wood, now sounding sweet. Just finishing off electrics and sourcing a bed….. been an expensive project this far and slept in her twice lol. Still…. I love her.
