Excuse me but what the eff are you plugging in to my van?!

I had a huge rear projection TV back 'in the day', (pre T6, I had money then) a whopping 10 degree optimum viewing angle!
I remember watching some maniac at Busfest using an SDS drill plugged into his camper... oh, I see we've had that one already.:geek::thumbsup:
More as an exercise for the battery but we take a small travel kettle and two slice toaster and run them both at the same time.

Was considering if that option or possibly a suitable powerbank may work. Or maybe a case of not used when not on ehu
It would knock a big hole in any lithium battery. I just like the thought of being able to do it! Our 907 calor cylinder does well for cookering on the Cadac, even kettle boiling is done on gas apart from the first tea of the day on the induction in the van.

In summary - plus a few I thought of

AC to DC battery charger - obviously
CPAP machine
Toaster

I was going to say, counter top dishwasher.

Even with only a little rear kitchen pod rinsing out the frying pan and mugs is annoying.

On the more serious side I've never really got taking high power mains devices off grid, it's sort of what I go off grid to get away from. I'm not a luddite in the area, 20 years ago we had the narrowboat fitted with the (then outrageous) 1.5kw inverter/charger and 15 years ago I was doing canvas tent camping reenactment with a gel lead acid power pack with 300w inverter (funny how all the purists would siddle over when their phones went flat). If the lights stay on, the milk stays cold and the 4G/phones/laptop stay charged I'm good.

That said if we ever reach commodity levels where I can drop in a system to run an induction hob without concerns and get rid of the gas stove from the pod I'm in. And we're possibly very close to that...
