Fishing the Conon above Inverness for a few days.
Not landed anything myself yet my pal had one yesterday about 11lb and turned 2 salmon on my sunray today.
Going back down tonight

Looks lovely.
All the best on the Spey. Pictures of fish hopefully
My laddie landed a wee grilse yesterday in the bright sun. It reached 27 degrees and we left and got drunk and had a bbq.
Just lost a big fish mid teens this morning. It snagged me and broke off. Raining now so much better conditions. Have high hopes for today

Hi Flying Scotsman, did you buy the Ecoflow D2? Is it any good?
Yes it’s amazing and saved our holiday. With our batteries being a year older and the lack of sun we would have really struggled without it this year.
Being able to plug the vans EHU into it and getting our microwave working off grid is a game changer

Thanks for the link.

Here’s a picture of one of the Snook I caught while fishing from the beach in Naples Florida, this was pre Yorkie time when we went abroad. Would highly recommend it, as you are sight fishing watching them coming along the margins. At times you can get some type of fish nearly every cast, but I got hooked looking for Snook.

My goes to Mexico every year mainly to sight fish for permit but targets the bone fish and big barracudas too.
We’re away to book up for Iceland august next year for the grilse, salmon and sea run char

There’s someone I know was planning a trip to Iceland this year. I don’t know if he got enough people to go, but hopefully Allan will come down from Moray for the GAC open weekend, you’ll have an amazing time when you go. Do you ever fish the Ness ?

We’re not flush enough to fish the ranga or other big Icelandic rivers. They’re £15000 for 3 days fishing
The Ness is about the only decent sized river I’ve never fished for either trout or salmon.
I fish all over Scotland
