Never a great idea to re-lite the cadac when the lid is full of gas, it has a tendency to disagree and blow the top 5' in the air and singe all your eyebrows when looking through a side slot..

Hi Fish, your van looks amazing and you and (quite) a few others on here are an inspiration. Have you published a full spec of what you have had done in summary? Other than this thread... would be interested to know your non factory additions, heater, air choices etc.
If my van will look half as good as yours when I'm done I'll be happy.

Thank you mate, as you say, there are many inspirations for us all in the forum both simple mods and also complex ones.. members always pushing the known boundaries of what can be achieved etc.
Unfortunately not mate. There has been so many trials and errors that the list would bore most ppl that arnt in insurance.

California Mattress
This is available and a great addition for a poptop.
I have been using it, both as a double and a folded single. Self inflating is alittle short winded few extra puff'z needed.
For my HiLo during the day left it deflated in the roof, then obviously re-inflated at night for use.
Overall been a great addition.

I’ll second that. Perfect for pop top. We use it under the foam mattress and as my roof is the upturned bath tub version, it can be left inflated with duvet!
