Has anyone done an EGR delete on a Eu5?

My T5.1 works van has had its EGR removed for about 6 years now. It runs great no problems getting it mot’d.
After it failed for the 3rd time I bit the bullet.

Tafmet kit available online to diy or many tuners seem to offer this service, if it's not visible it will pass as many testify on here.

Yeah so I did a blanking kit from dark side. And I got a remap to close the port it was pretty dirty and if you just did the remap then you can’t be certain it isn’t open a bit. Hence getting both done.

Also had a remap from 102 to around the 160 figure. Runs like a dream!

Wouldn't know where to start if I did it myself.
You'd see me in the street with a pile of pistons, flywheels and a windscreen wiper. Amazing what a good hammer can do.
