Hello from Eire

Hi all! After a couple posts here and there for months and loads of reading, I ordered in September 2022 a Highline 150 DSG SWB T6.1 in Ravenna Blue.
The van arrived in February and during March/April it was professionally converted by Lazy Days in Wicklow. It is a very bespoke conversion made to suit my autistic son needs so we are extremely happy that they were able to squeeze in everything we wanted we 100% recommend them!
Adventures have already started with a first trip 150 miles away!

Looks mint. Well done

What is the rear view mirror please?
It’s the Akeeyo 720
It’s a dashcam with sentry/parking mode. The camera under the mirror has two fisheye lenses and cover 360 degrees , the camera on the number plate is 180 degrees. The idea is that I always have a rear view mirror, even with the rear curtain closed and that if someone damages my van the camera that points at the interior can see what happened through the windows to capture what happened (if a hit on the side) however it’s limitation is that it doesn’t warn you on your phone or anything like. When the screen is off it’s just a normal mirror.

Hey all just picked up a T6.1 last week after owning a T4 2.5 102hp for 17 years. Still have the T4 and will need it for a bit longer, as the T6 has a coolant issue that the garage needs to sort. Using coolant but no sign of a leak so dreaded egr cooler or head gasket (I really hope not ) Loving the T6 though really comfortable and it’s 150hp so a bit more than I was used to in a van.

Also one of the heater vents on drivers side is stuck so need to take it out to check it out.
Any idea how it’s removed without me breaking something?
