How long off grid

I run a Vitrifrigo fridge set at 0 in my day van. I can easily wild camp for 4-5 days without any problems and without solar.
My battery is fine for the first 2 days after which I monitor the battery voltage and when it gets to around 12.2V I run the engine for approx 30 mins and again in the evening if its below 12.4v.

I do prefer EHU if available as I can set the fridge to -2 and get ice cold beer.

I found the difference between running the fridge on the battery during the 35C heat wave and running it the other weekend when it was freezing was massive! Not surprising really but the solar would have been enough to keep the fridge going for a good few days when the ambient temp was low even when the sun was nearly non existent, whereas with full sun in high heat it’s a day, day and a half tops!

Last month I spent 7 days off grid... with a crx50 on its coldest setting as I needed to keep stuff frozen... charging phones and tablets, led lighting on and 2-3 hour film on the 12v avtex dvd player most evenings...

My power set up is 2 x 110ah agms backed up by a 250 watt panel and split charge.. didnt seem to make a dent in the battery power... like another poster above has stated with the right set up, you can last indefinitely off grid...

It will be a good test. I’ll put the fridge low and put ice blocks in it and keep monitoring.
turning off at night seems a good idea as well.

I’m not sure whether turning it off will help, the temp control should ensure it only cuts in when needed and if the temp goes up a lot then it will just cane it in the morning when you switch it back on. It would be interesting which is best in the real life test though
