'Inspection Now' message

Hi all,
My oil change & inspection service has come up.
I would like to know what an inspection service consists of? Does it mean full service, unable to see any real detail in service book
What is a rough cost for this

So my understanding which could be incorrect is that an inspection service is a smaller version of a full service?
Is that correct
