Well at last the wheels are on and what a difference! Just need to clean the tyres and black them, oh and reset the dash as I've got a light on now saying I've got a flat tyre, doh!

Hi @WeaWar , I’ve been going through the same dilemmas that you have so it was nice to find this post. I like the look you’ve achieved, just the sort of thing I’m after. Can I ask what drop you have in the suspension. Cheers

Hi, B14's lowered all the way down all round, looks so nice with 19's. Latest photo with new lights, spitter and de-chromed . FE60DA5B-ADA8-4848-9B28-46CE931E1A76.jpeg

Thanks guys. I didnt realise it was harder to find load rated tyres in 19" than 20".

I think I would prefer 19s for a couple of reasons.
1) Comfier ride than 20s
2) Slightly cheaper tyres

Mine is a T30 so I believe I need 805kg rated wheels?
The Judd T311R wheel in 19 is load rated to 815kg. (Thinking about this does the load rating also vary with the width ie 9J or 10J?)

I've seen some on the bay of fleas and I quite like them.

Or there are some (used) 20" Range Rover wheels I like at half the price. But I've I don't know what the kit is I need to get them to fit.

This is driving me nuts. (I nearly bought some used 19" Amarok wheel that were in as new condition but they had almost new tyres on that were too big).

Maybe I will just get the Devonports refurbished. :/
I am about to purchase a set of Judd 311r 19”” 8.5 on the front staggered 9.5 rear . please what is the best recommendation for tyre width / Profile for these wheels, where I’m looking to buy them from are suggesting 275 x 45 19 for front & rear ?? I do want the tyres to offer some rim protection so I want them wide enough not stretched. Any advice please

Recommended tyre width on 8.5J wheels is 235 or 245mm and maximum size 255.

Hi all, is anybody running a set of these in their T6? I’m hopefully picking mine (T6 T30 LWB camper) up in two weeks and will be looking for a new set of wheels to replace the standard 16s.
They are JUDD T311R 19” ARGENT SILVER ALLOY
If you have experience of these how are / were they? Any issues with fitment, width, rubbing etc? What size tyres did run?
Many thanks in advance for any replies, advice or comments you can give.
Rick.

We are a dealer for Judd wheels. They are a very strong wheel, with a great concave on the back. Bit more expensive than your average wheel but worth it.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Your company is well recommended on here so will bear you in mind. I live just outside Cambridge but quite fancy a trip to the seaside in my camper!

Great stuff. We can mail order and give full advise on the phone if you don’t fancy the trip :)

Cheers Oli. A trip down is fine mate. No point in having a camper otherwise and I think it’s always better to speak face to face. Better than email or phone calls.
Just remember to get a certificate of conformity, be it TUV, JWL or VIA.
Just something to show your insurance co.
You don’t want to be the wrong side up on a road and the insurance company refuse payout due to not informing them of a change of wheel.
Insurance co. are buggers and will try to wriggle out payment.
Belts and braces and tell them you have JWL certificate and send it them before purchasing the wheels. (Or whatever cert those Judd wheels come with, maybe TUV?)
