knocking sound from rear suspension

I had Koni special active shocks & Evo Technik lowering springs fitted Aug 23 and since then when van is empty there is a knocking sound coming from the rear, OK when carrying a load.
Anyone else had this problem or any solutions. Many thanks in advance

I'm going through similar. When van is empty it knocks/clacks. I had the youngest in there listening and he says it's coming from over the suspension mounts.

I've been under and can't see anything loose but it doesn't mean it isn't bushes needing replacing - who knows.

One thing I thought it might be is that with lowered springs, you quite often get the coil touching at the base. Now mine is empty, there is a slight gap so am wondering if it is this causing my noise.

They are springs from a lowered kit yeah - although they were on the van when I bought it so can't advise specifics

You may have beefier springs if you have a T32. I dunno otherwise.

I hope you get it sorted. I started a thread about mine but got barely any response and I'm scared to take it to a garage

If it's knocking over bumps and stuff it's usually the drop links, in my experience. But it could be anything. If it's been happening since you had new suspension parts fitted then take it back to the place that fitted it all.

Don't be scared to take it to a garage. I had my caddy in the garage to identify a knock. They put it up on a ramp that can move the wheels quickly from side to side. They identified the problem instantly. Lower suspension arm bushings, if I remember correctly. And didn't charge me for it.

In that image there looks like a clue on the right of the image, it suggests that although the coils aren't touching when stationary they do under certain circumstances, as it's cleaned the mud off. Again, when loaded those coils might be touching all of the time, so that it doesn't knock.
Just an observation, I might be barking up the wrong tree....

I think we are both barking up the same tree... not sure if it's occupied though hehe

I'll take photos pre load and post load and see what the difference is at some point for reference
