Kombi camper conversion

Hi Richard, I just wondered where do you keep your coolbox at night once your bed is setup? Thanks.

Hi there. The yeti is used for many things. I stand on it to put the pop top wrap on, it serves as a table when eating outdoors, and a seat when needed. At night, it goes on the drivers side seat, the kids stand on it to get into the pop top.
I also sometimes leave it outside over night- it could be locked up and to the van if I could be bothered.
It definitely gives more than the space it takes.
Thanks. Rich

Morning,

We've got a Kombi, similar spec. It's just in getting a few things done before I attempt to turn ours into a similar sort of multiuse space.

I'm intrigued by the arm rest on the rear seat. We haven't used the single rear seat - it's been permanently out of the van to create more useable space inside since we bought it. We've covered the floor mounts like you appear to have done. How do you get an folding arm rest on the nearside end of the double rear seat? Where does it go if you need to put the single seat back in?

Hi. For the arm rest, I followed theis guide Single rear seat folding lever removal
Really quite easy to do- but you would have to take it off to put the third seat in. Doing so would make the back of the van inaccessible for us, so we just don't use it.

Cheers fella,

It looks like a job for a professional. Worth bearing in mind tho - I might look at it in the future.

Thank you for your advice.
