Kombi glass colour

You are so right ther dave my last jig. Before I gave it up was a car o liner nice bit of kit think the lad who bought it off me still has it , just looked on eBay they still fetch good money aswel

I remember proving a body shop owner wrong with the car on his jig and measuring system with a simple "calibrated" tape measure... Had a good laugh at that one, long story, but it's a good one some time.

Before measuring systems that's how it was done, searching threw some paperwork the other week came across some data sheets for cars I had repaired my escort rs was the last one I did

An accident damaged Escort RS, surely not!

I often wish I could pick up an old one and fettle it back to top notch (series 1 escort RS turbo) but there are none about. I had the series 2 and it was built from Spanish steel and rotted out something terrible, even the roof started to go. Loved my Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth, but barely drove it as I never wanted to get it dirty. Ahh the good old days.

Just did a google search for series 1, found one being sold for £27k!!!! Obviously a grand for every year old that it is.

They use to rot around the sunroof area

Fun, but simple.
Cvh engine lovely and with a Kent or piper cam , stainless exhaust , induction or panel filter and a 195 chip would see 200 bhp easy that was a lot years ago, Diesel engines have this now and more standard.
Still got a shed load of series 2 parts in the shed

That's a hell of a spec there andythom188. Mines running 220bhp and that's enough. It would keep with my cossy.

Just found a photo of my s1 s2 and the cossy in the back ground. Shame I only have the s2 left
