LED self-levelling help!

Ok.. so got it lifted, full locked the wheel and managed to reach the plug connector. Dropped it out and the only thing I have is sandwich bags and cable ties to keep it dry!! It has worked! The lights now don’t hit the trees on acceleration and dive to the floor on braking. Great temp fix!

cheers @Skyliner33 for the info! Worked a treat. I’ll let you all know what comes of it when fixed.

Glad its worked as a temp fix

I have this exact same problem, it’s only taken me nearly 12 months to find out. I haven’t drove my van at night since having my SoLows fitted over 12 months ago. Driving back from Devon Friday night the lights bounced up and down with acceleration and braking and pretty much every car flashed me. I’ve checked the lights and they move up and down when first switching the ignition on. I will have to get under and check these cables, my SoLows are at maximum height so not sure why the lights are so bad.

Well I haven't but I’ve found a fix!! Another member also had this issue. @RyanGerry do you still. We’d pointing the the right direction? Check this out.

Initially it needs tweaking with VCDS to calm the floating down. Once that has stopped I found adjusting the headlights fixed this issue.

I blamed the boys who fitted the air.. but I hadn’t been out at night in the summer months. so it must have been happening with my SoLow’s!!

So I haven’t drove the van at night since having the SoLows lifted but I will give it a go and see

The VCDS is needed to calm them down a bit from wobbling around. Then manual adjustment from them on..

well that’s what worked for me. Felt so bad dazzling people! Those LED are bright anyway let alone full blast.

I’ll take it out tonight actually and then if it does need VCDS I’ll have to find someone local as I don’t have one

It may not need it.. I’m not sure. I only manually adjusted after he did the tweak.

if it’s to bad and you can’t drive at night then I did temp fix by unplugging the sensor and bagging it up to keep clean that re set them to a sensible level.

I’m hoping having the SoLows lifted at the rear it’s sorted it as before it was lower at the rear so may of been the issue

Just back from a quick drive and it seemed to of worked, no bouncing up and down and no oncoming drivers flashed me so fingers crossed it’s worked!
