I had mate.. .went to fit them and guess what.. bloody SWB ones.. Listers told me they would exchange them as it was an error on their part.. but when they went to oder all this sportline crap started..
We can buy anything else sportline.. just not sidebars.. one a sportline VIN has been allocated a set the VIN cant be used again..

The only cirrent option is buying used and gettig owner to reorder some more, 'due to theft'..

Unfortunatly, vw never returned them to me, so dont even have them any more..
You can try Listers Droitwich and see if they still have them.

Nothing

Yes it can only be used once

so any gen sportsline been allocated a set... therefore VIN is no good?

They leave the factory with a set then the VIN can be used to order another set ie replace damaged ones etc but only one set can be ordered per VIN number

But when you look at the cost of the standard bars against the so called unobtainable sportline bars is it worth all the faffing about, not for me! At least the genuine sportline bars will have a warranty, I bet the aftermarket puddle lights are chinese and we all know what that means especially as they are located underneath the van getting covered in road grime and rain.

Vw.... Yes sir.. You haven't got a sportline, so no issue, as they shouldn't of been issued to your vehicle..
