would get the front number plate fitted sharpish, I got severe grief and the threat of 3 points/ fine from PC Plod when I had the front plate sitting on the dash like that with my defender.

Its fitted now I was just waiting on a new one to be made

If your new one is the shorter one in the pics above, it might be wise to measure the gap before the 'M' It looks small. 2 notices for incorrect number plate from the feds and the DVLA will take the personal plate.

I fitted mine with bolts and double sided tape at both edge ends
