I'm new to the transporter so forgive seemingly stupid questions... where is the battery situation and where could I put a second battery. It has 2 single front seats.

Starter battery is under the bonnet. Most people locate their leisure battery in the base of the driver's seat (or possibly somewhere in the offside furniture in a camper).

With 2 single seats you can put a lesuire battery under either seat, or have 1 under each for extra power.
