Needingworth Or Cambridge Campers?

Thank you! Who did yours? Hope i dont regret not pushing the boat out a bit but suppose theres some sort of equity on the drive for the future if i change my mind. Still young(ish) so hopefully i get the full vw bus world experience :)
We went with dubvanstyle in Guildford. I met them at jk open day 3 yrs ago .looked at a number of the off the peg solutions then last year found myself back where I started . I found it them easy to work with and good quality. I spent a lot but I get a lot from it when driving it or even just looking at it in the driveway . Whatever you do don’t cut corners , you will regret it .

Fair play that is lovely bit of kit! Thanks for the advice ;)

Really appreciate that message, i thought it was weird they were called camper king, also I was driving 3 hours tomorrow with the mindset to get things rolling straight away as can't find fault in it from where im sat. So have been having last minute wobbles and frantically looking through a few years worth of vw magazines to try and see if im doing the right thing! A lot of it comes down to buget as well so would love a fully kitted base van but that might have to be the future camper lol like you said just get it done and get camping! If i go ahead tomorrow it will be the longest 4 weeks ever to wait but will be worth it and in time for spring :)

I didn’t mean to rush into a decision but enjoy the process and don’t have any regrets. Sounds like you’ve been looking for a while and done some research so if you see something that’s right go for it. If not, look some more. I liked the idea of getting a conversion to get what I wanted but if I saw something that ticked the boxes...

This is it its fighting with my urge to get the first thing i like! I think ill know when i get over there

We looked at Needingworth and Cambridge Campers for a van. Cambridge Campers were great, very friendly, but we sadly missed out on our chosen van and they didnt have anything else in that suited our budget at the time. Nice vans though.
We visited Needingworth same day. Not as jovial but a great selection of vans. We purchased one from Needingworth and have been delighted. We bought a late 17 plate, low mileage T6 Highline at a good price. They have proved very efficient for aftersales advice. I’d happily recommend them. We’ve had some great trips in our van. Ours is a 102 and its fine. Cruises on the motorway great at 70. I notice it on the hills but dropping down the gears always gets us up. I always said I’d get it remapped but tbh I probably wont. I remind myself its a campervan not a sports car!
We saved a fair bit getting one without a diesel heater. However we have missed this feature so our next add on will probably be the heater. We also fancy a solar panel. I will no doubt go back to Needingworth to purchase and fit these. I didnt know until afterwards our van is a camperking conversion. We are pleased with it. All is solid and no problems. Everyone comments how smart it is.

In conclusion..... delighted with our van. Would recommend Needingworth.van.jpg

That is a really good looking van. I’m still buying the styling bits and bobs for mine which come included on these vans and it’s really adding up. It makes them such good value for money.

We got ours from Cambridge Campervans 2 years ago and have been very happy with it. We got a Trendline with barn doors, only done 9000 miles and 11 months old at we thought a very good price. We have since added things to it but Paul the owner was very knowledgeable and spent ages going through different things with us.
Totally recommend Cambridge Campervans

I’ve got a Cambridge Campervans van. Overall pleased with it. Changed a few bits since purchase. DM me if you want to ask questions.

My van is from Cambridge campers and is still for sale. The timing wasn’t right just before CV19 arrived. I’ll drop the price advertise it again when things calm down.

Meanwhile, if anyone knows of someone who is interested, get in touch.

Im looking at 2 in particular, both chrome yellow fully converted 19 plate with delivery miles on, both companies just a few miles inbetween so going up friday to check them both out in Cambridgeshire.
