They are noticeable when looking at junctions more than you would think.Funny location for the markings that.
But………it’s not a kombi so you won’t be sat looking out of those windows, and… depending on what you do with the van and the layout with the van furniture or similar you’ll find that you never really look out of the door windows so I’d wait and see how much it annoys you in real-world useage.
They are supposed to be for a T6 but I think they are just cheap crap.Shame about the glass, think that would annoy me too - never seen it in the middle before. Ref the shape - Are the definitely T6 windows, ie he’s not got a generic side window and cut the opening size to suit? Can imagine how gutting it was given the build up and expectation. Nothing that can’t be fixed or changed if your that unhappy with it. Still remember when I had windows fitted by a specialist in my T4, and within a week or so they were both falling out where the surface hadn’t been primed properly. Was a 2 hr drive each way each time to get them done.
Which wheels did you decide on in the end? Any pictures?
They don’t follow the curve of the van either, just crap in every respect.Won't that t-cut out mate?
Otherwise, understand why you'd want to ditch those.
I’ve lost enthusiasm at the moment.Yeah, and once you know they're there, and you dislike them, there is absolutely no way to ignore them.
That's crap. Good job you like these projects then!
Looking good!Done a bit more lining of the inside of the van this bank holiday weekend. MVM carpet on the walls, Harrisons suedeliner on the roof panels, until I decide if to pop or not.
Now to decide curtains or blinds.

That's excellent news! Also thanks to everyone who have shared their vehicle's scans - every scan mattersJust saying a massive thank you to @Pauly @mmi and @dnoermann.
Finally the indirect TPMS has been activated on my van.

Well after buying a rear badge from THQ on the way to Brook meadows, and the sun came out I decided to have a go at fitting it.
So trying to remove the rear badge and just the chrome VW bit popped off leaving. the backing plate in situ. Oh, that was unexpected. I know I have some textured black paint in the man cave.
An hour later this is the result:

Quite pleased with the result. Will see how it holds up. Now to try the front again, which for the life of me I can't seem to get off, despite the rear taking less than a minute.
I left the black plastic backing and sprayed the VW bit.I just installed them on my van but my experience was opposite to you - the front chrome bit came off easily.
The rear did the same as yours - the chrome bit popped off leaving the black plastic which I snapped off in bits and then had to spend 30mm with the remnants of the sticky stuff
