Personal plates are naff. The OP asked about private plates or not. I say not. I answered the question.
Spelling your own name or telling everyone that you have a T6 -. Or "hiding the age" of the a vehicle. Why? I just don't get it and never will. That was called an opinion BTW. I believe users are allowed to have them.

I've got T6 GNU ready to put on - I wanted it delivered with these on, so nothing to do with hiding age, but suppliers forget they had the docs. Now I have my amended campervan V5C I can sort but will wait until I get my suspension sorted so I can sort everything out with insurance at the same time.

My number plate only has a meaning to me I suppose, my dad bought it for me when I pass my driving test at 17. I have had it on all my vehicles and always will.
I like that a lot @StudleyGlass , some things in life really are priceless
