I’ve got to wait for the same year to get the plate I want… highly doubt I’ll win it anyway

Some interesting ones in the current DVLA auction. My mate is bidding on a couple.
Well I'm out. I've got W4 SRB and was trying to buy SRB 4W. With fees it's at £1040 and still got till this afternoon to go. I'd like it, but not that much. It's not as if I haven't got enough spare plates on retention as it is.
Interestingly, I enquired with Regtransfers a couple of years ago, then out of the blue last week, I got an email from them saying that it might be coming available. I'm half expecting a message from them tomorrow saying I can have it for £1500.

I understand that the DVLA auction site adds 30 mins to the auction end time if there is a bid within the last half hour - prevents snipers I guess!
