[A Bridge Too Far]

We had a Hercules plane fly over low level yesterday (really low!) - you could only see it in the gaps between the houses - I do like a low flying military air craft. We seem to get lots of Chinooks go over. I wonder if they are following the M1 which is about 1.5 miles away?

Was it the new A400M squadron? Looks like fat C130 but makes a slightly odd sound (more highpitched tha the Herc) They've been up and down the country moving equipment for the NHS, C130 flying is pretty rare now (I think last UK C130 retirement was 2019, we supply kit onto both airframes).

thats definitely flying low.

Those big planes seem to defy gravity!! Just googled A400 and yes I think it was one of those!

I thought that Hercules C130Js were still flying out of Brize Norton (albeit in the guise of the C4S) and will be until the 2030s.
