Plug and Play loom for LED headlight retrofit

Have you spoken to HazzyDayz, I had some other stuff done at the same time so not 100% but don't think it would be £4500 just for the lights.

Will definitely get in touch with them to see what they can do, website says:

£2245+vat headlights
Or
£2745+vat headlights with washers if you already have cutouts for washer jets
Or
£3150+vat headlights with washers and new bumper with cutouts

Auto levelling £650+vat on top.

The only uncertainty now is how to adjust the headlights when in, i assume they will come pointing straight, if they do or not i am thinking about fashioning some form of button setup/joystick that can connect to the remaining four pins on the LED headlight plug that can be connected to adjust the headlight to ensure correct beam alignment, wont know for sure until purchased but still undecided
So exluding the levelling is it just the standard harness or some other wires too?

Without levelling the existing harness just needs to be tweaked as LED have different connections/plug on back but looks like it can be done with an adapter loom

I was under the impression that the led needs self leveling by law, to prevent blinding oncoming users.. This is very different to height adjustable, as it monitors and levels the lights individually according to suspension movement... Continually....

If you think about it.. If vw could have gotten away without it, they would of..

Cant get away with it for type approval but MOT is slightly different, this something that needs to be looked into in more detail
Other companies are offering this service without levelling and quoting the MOT rules and saying its acceptable so i am basing it on that but have not done the full due diligence yet

Yeah, but rules will change, and as its a mod from OE, it will probably be slammed.. In any case its responsibility, or liability, you design it, its fitted, causes a fatalitie due to dazzling.. Wouldn't want to be on the other end of that one.. Even if found no probs, adverse press etc.... Aftermarket HID kits are being slammed, but were apparently OK at inception.. OE led lights are sod off bright with the leveling!....

Dam right there, you can't miss a T6 coming along the road with LED's they are bright in the day and night

Its a bit too early to say, i would like to be optimistic and say sub £2k but dont hold me to it

More importantly i need to look further into the technicalities and legalities of us selling them and any potential liabilities we could incur, i obviously dont want to get into a position where a couple years down the road an MOT issue arises and a shitstorm lands on my doorstep

@Pauly can't you just sell them as off road use / show use only the same as the other aftermarket light kits and bulbs.

Surly everyone buying them from you knows fitting something like this as an upgrade is at their own risk!

:sleep: Won't stand up in court of law as a defence in @paulys case.. He will be seen as trying to circumnavigate his responsibilitys as a manufacturer/producer/supplier of a kit of parts to make something work that ultimately led to (possibly) being in court..

We don't fit anything only supply, if people want to buy parts I can supply them, what they do with those parts is up to them, we can advise and recommend etc but ultimately it is down to them them how/why/what they do but as with anything common sense must prevail

Just after some advise really, has anyone replaced the standard h4 lights with the genuine led ones.
Wanting to know where you got the parts from and what parts were needed etc. Cheers

I have done it to mine, its possible to do as a DIY job but needs some custom wiring to connect it all up, i have templated a loom for this and am in the process of making some
Its not a cheap job but if your interested feel free to get in touch and we can discuss it if you want
