Unfortunately not, I like the idea of having one but I blows my mind when all you VCDS users start talking

I've got this switch, I've pulled it and it does nawt. I'll try a long pull tomorrow and see what that does. Sounds so wrong...

I've got VCDS too and have scanned already so can ping you that. Let me know what best format/platform to do so is.

Would you mind to confirm what functionality has your driver's door switch in the following 4 scenarios.

1 - opening with a short/quick pull
2 - opening with a long pull
3 - closing with a short/quick pull
4 - closing with a long pull

And can you also post your AUTOSCAN ( instructions here ----> Autoscan )
& adaptations for 09 and 6D ( instructions here ----> Adaptations )

2 - Boot opens
3 - Nothing
4- Indicators flash quickly three times.

It would be very nice if it could close but I can do it from the key now at least.

no weight added. Not touched the tailgate, just had it open while doing the side panels.
It’s 3 beeps in quick succession

If you disconnect power supply to tailgate control unit it requires for the tailgate itself to be closed manually.
Basically the controller has to start its standard work from "zero" position .

So your solution - just close your tailgate manually and then it will work for you no problems.

Just reset my windows and they both are now closing when i hold the key fob in, but the mirrors don't fold usually, but they did as a one off today, but I could not get them to do it again, any ideas if there is a reset for the mirrors?
