Ah ok. I ordered one by mistake and sent it back as I didn’t need it. Looking at the instructions it looked fairly straight forward

Yeah I’ve fitted one on mine... wasn’t too bad, door card was a bit of a pain to put back on with the clips

You get instructions and they are clearly detailed

Yes we’ve fitted them too. Allow a couple of hours. Instructions nice and clear.

No coding just connect the wiring as instructions and it all works fine on the key fob and the standard switch

Did anyone determine if the Q door modules have the correct pins 12,14 & 15 to accept the folding mirror??

Hi. Not been on here for a while. I lost interest with my van, however once I washed it and polished it I’ve rekindled my love

I have a t6 17 plate with non Fold mirrors. Is there a way to upgrade to power fold on key? All this code stuff just confuses me.

If you do not have power fold mirrors fitted at all on your van then you will need a full kit, something like this i would think VW T6 Power Folding Mirror Kit Genuine Mirrors & Switch.

Sorry to butt in but how do you know if the mirrors fold on fob or not? Found only way so far is to turn mirror adjustor knob

It’ll depend on the age of your van. MY16 can be programmed through VCDS, MY17 can’t be programmed, MY18 do it I think already without programming.

If you take a look at the “map” on the menu list at the top of the page, look for the nearest yellow pin to where you live. This indicates VCDS owners. You could then private message them to see if you an strike up a deal.
