Can I just check that the folding mirrors will work with my van, it's a Dec 2015 van. Thanks.
Qute likely if you have them folding with the switch, but only a scan to see which modules you have to be sure(but to scan and see you just as well try programming them..)
I’ve had my 16 plate van with power fold mirror s for near to 3 years now & have wanted the mirrors to fold with key fob since new I’ve tried the Vw dealer they can’t do it, Is there anyone within traveling distance will to do this for me? I’m in Ipswich. It’s worth me paying for as though originally my mirror would have done the fob folding on lock for factory/ new & was disappointed as the folding doesn’t really get used as I have to keep turning that knob inside the van, thanks Abbott
I have a September 15, and my mirrors are recoded to fold.
Thanks. Just out of interest do they fold on normal locking or a long press?

long press. The recoding links them into the window comfort closing facility.
Do VW fit the mirror adjuster unit in the drivers door with the mirror fold logo on none fold vehicles? Our van has the unit as described but the mirrors don't fold on ignition.
It depends on model year. IIRC MY16 can be programmed to fold with VCDS, MY17 can't fold with key unless aftermarket hardware is fitted, and MY18 onwards come with it as standard
No they don’t, if you have power fold then you’ll have 2 mirror icons on the switch, one to fold and one for heated

I'm an idiot! I replaced my door cards for all black items. The window switch that came with them was in better condition than my old one so I used that. Hence the folding mirror icon.

I used Paul at professional retrofits, my glass and mirror caps, all new VW mirrors, door switch and travelin lite module, 695.00 plus value added thievery, looking at the cost of parts and my ability to royally f*#k it up, seemed very good value.

Depends on a few things...first do you have folding mirror controls on your door ? if not you will need to change the whole mirror setup to electric folding type for starters.
