Price of diesel in your area?

Shell seems to be the worst offenders round here, still clinging on to the 199.9.

Jet are leading the way with 189.9.

£179.9/l for BP unleaded at Pickering. Couldn't see the price of diesel though as the driver was going way too fast

This could be just a grumpy old man rant but but this week I discovered some seriously good travel news, for me. On Wednesday I took the train to collect the van from my son who’s had it while I couldn’t drive. The forty mile Paddington to Reading journey on the Elizabeth line is free using the Freedom pass. The bad news is that I got a reality check when I had to fill the tank. Back in the days of flowers, flares and cheese cloth shirts, when I first started working it would take me over six months to earn that sort of money  Admittedly he paid his share but.....!!

182.9 today at Abridge, Essex
Queue blocking the road both ways.

The price of oil is less than $100 a barrel today but ten years ago it was about €115 per barrel but we were paying £140 at the pumps.
No wonder the profits are so high.

Yes, the world price of crude oil was higher in 2014 than it is now, yet we didn't see petrol and diesel prices so high.
