Sorted mine now. Lubed the pivots, and nipped up the loose bolts whilst I was there. Same issue, but at least the hinges weren’t so baggy.
Noticed the roof was fully forward on the bolts to the hinge (I had already done the hinges to van). Loosened the bolts, tapped the hinge forward relative to the roof, tightened the bolts. Gained about 10mm, and roof now not binding on front spoiler. Result!
