A friend is trying to retrofit ACC on a 2016 model with city brake and cruise control on the stalk from factory. He has a new steering wheel with cruise control buttons and the wires needed for the retrofit. Does anyone know what module(s) has to be coded and what software is needed?

He tried to code abs and engine with vcds and getting fault code P1647.

These existing threads suggest that it's more than just coding required, you may need new software loading and/or component protection removing

My van has a front sensor so would like to try and enable the adaptive cruise control. Could anyone recommend a obd2 /vag(?) Interface that I can use to change the settings, preferably cheaper the better lol
