Review: Ovano

Assuming the height of the platform matches the rear seats when folded down, you should be able to get MTBs in.

Took a fair bit of faff to get four in, but got there in the end! There are three DHs and an enduro in there.

Pretty much same bike wise as what I'll be taking! The ovano is about an inch higher than the kombi seats folded I reckon so should be ok! May fit better sideways possibly or maybe I'm being very optimistic
Main thing is you had room for the brewdog!

I did try sideways - can't remember why I didn't stick with it... might have been because the slack fork angle on the DHs meant that they were hitting the roof lining. Putting them in lengthways (and on a slight angle) allowed the forks to sit where the roof lining is highest.

Beer space is a must - and a load more went in after this photo was taken. I wonder why I came back from Morzine 2 kg heavier...

This is on my list to order too but they're 7 hours drive away !
I usually take my single seat out and put my bike along the side, only when away in my caravan. 99% of the time I need the xl system with tools and storage. Can you take the top off and sit a bike in with the wheels still on and the single seat out ?

Nope, because of the lattice structure across the back of the draw. Will try and get a pic in the light tomorrow

I had my system fitted today, very pleased with it I have to say. Enquired about the new model I mentioned above but it wasn’t there to look at and Josh told me he wasn’t entirely happy with it anyway so they are having a rethink.

Useless without pictures in your T6 ! ;) :p

Here it is in full technicolour ;)
Now I’ve just got to teach the dog to jump up on the drawer and then up onto the platform as that’s where her crate is going...wish me luck!

The one improvement I’m going to make is to add a carpet liner to the drawer. My fridge slides about a bit on the buffalo board if i throw the van into a corner and i reckon a carpet or rubeer liner will stop this.

@Big.mac
Any chance you could take a couple of measurements of the drawer internals for me at some point.
Inside of drawer from phenolic finish to top of drawer side and inside of drawer from phenolic to the top of the drawer front. It's the depth of these two lips I'm after.
Cheers.

Thanks for that, much appreciated.
How have you been getting on with it, any rattles etc?
No rattles. Really pleased with it. Not used it to sleep on as yet but the drawer system is brilliant. I’ve even managed to teach the dog to jump up onto the platform as that’s where her crate is going to be most of the time.
Everyone I have shown it to has been really impressed. If you’re thinking about getting one I’d certainly recommend it.

Sounds good. I'm working away at the moment but I will need to check those measurements when I get back next week. My dog cage would be living on the drawer most of the time and I think that lip will be too big. Might need to see if they can modify the front for me.
Cheers.

Certainly worth asking them. I would recommend either a carpet or rubber liner for the drawer as well. My fridge slides about a little just now. I’ve got a bit of carpet on its way to sort that out. I may also put a bit of old yoga mat on the top under the dogs crate just to ensure that can’t slide as well.

My only issue.with a draw slide.system would be if you were on a slope with a lot of weight in the draw. Wouldn't it just fly out when releasing the draw slide lock.
