Quick question - I just acquired a set of these and tried them on my t6.1 today. They look really good and even fit with the original 245/65 tyres. Unfortunately however the rims rub on the front edge of the front callipers. Fine on the rear. Did you use spacers, or did they just work OK for you?View attachment 155074Amarok Aldo 17”x8” alloys
Not many running 15mm spacers with the 235 tyre. Can I ask how much clearance you have between the tyre and the sliding door please?I now have 17s on too:

I was just wondering if you still have the van? I'm considering the Geolander and I'd love to hear your thoughts.Wheels: 17” Devonports black satin powder coat.

The Cross Climates (CCs) are cracking tyres having had them previously. I'm currently running Cooper Discoverer ATTs (mild AT tyre) in 225 60 17 and considering reverting back to the CCs in 225 65 17 as 98% of my driving is on-road and from experience, the CCs are more than capable on campsites/fields etc. They also look great in my opinion.

Navis/THQ have these wheels with this size tyre on their van (well in an Instagram post they have). The van looked great and they said there's no need to remove the inner arches. They have it on air ride. So, I thought, they are the experts and it looks cool. ( im not sure what height they set it to drive though) Just drove 20 miles and checked the arches and it's definitely rubbing slightly. I can't hear or feel it, but you can see it.Is there a reason you chose that size ?
That's no problem. I like that look and would prefer it lower but obviously, it's not practical and I'll probably go 10mm higher. Those tyres look too big in my non-expert opinion. I appreciate that personal tastes differ, but, for me, they just don't sit well in the arches... sorry.
I know exactly what you mean. I am happy, but yes, those wildpeaks do look better. I ordered the tyres online with the wheels and had no idea what they would look like on the wheel or on the van. I would think if you get five tyres all at 235 on a 8.5 wheel, they would look similar in shape? Maybe the all terrain tyres are more square? It's hard to put my finger on exactly why I have the opinion I have. I suspect it's the shape of the sidewall of your tyres compared to the above pics - yours appear to be more convex and slightly bulging.
Anyway, I'll shut up now as I don't want to rain on your parade - what matters is that you're happy.
Standard suspension? Here are my newly refurbed devonports with 225/65 Wildpeaks. I went for 225s to try and keep the height down. No noticeable increase in noise and slightly softer ride than the 235/50R18s they replaced. Individual wheel bolt caps and centre caps in lieu of the ‘spider’ style cover. (H&R -40 springs)

I amended the post to add the springs. Just -40 mm and koni shocks.Standard suspension?
