Sliding windows: flush fit or "normal".

We've got Camper Glass standard slide opening windows and very happy with them.
Was advised to stay away from the flush opening window as they can wobble about on the sliding door.
I was also put off of the safari style opener after hearing of more than one person banging their head on the opened window while sat in their awning

I am happy with mine but I did mention on another post, that mine moves on the sliding door when closing it. It doesn't create any problems with it leaking but it's just a little annoying that the shut gap moves, so I always slide it back.

Sounds like my converter has experienced the same issue.
@AshHT6 If you did another van, would you fit the flush ones again knowing now that they need this adjustment? I really like the clean look of the flush window

I would fit them again because they do look good and they dont leak (so far they haven't). It would be good to know if the play in the window is normal. Or if there's a batch with this issue (if you can call it an issue). Someone on another thread has the same window and when he closes the sliding door, the glass moves and hits the fixed glass . That definitely doesn't sound right.

Good morning
looking into fitting 2 aftermarket flush windows to my van. I've search threads regarding this, it seams there’s some with a bit of play in the opener, and some that have rexported leaks. I’m sure many haven’t had issues. I’ve searched and found a few different suppliers but not sure if they all come from the same manufacturer.
I had recessed sliders from camper Glass on my previous vehicle, which I owned for 6 years and never had problem, the flush slides look so much better and I don’t want to fit something with a possibility of changing in the future.
Could anyone please advise?

About to buy a pair of windows for my conversion (I have twin sliders) You can now get "flush" fitting openings as opposed to the recessed versions. The opening window is alot smaller on the flush version.
Are they worth the additional cost?
Do the recessed ones create alot of wind noise?
Anything else I should know?
