Hi all I have 200w of solar panels on my roof hooked up to a renogy dc to dc 50a but at best only getting 55w with 4.6amp pics are from today surely 200w should produce more than 50w thus was when sun was high and direct am I doing something wrong ?

Is it bright and direct sunny?

If not, then 55w is about right for a overcast day from 200w. (25% pmax)

Is it one 200w panel?

Or two 100w?

Got some pics?

Your voc looks low, possibly 2*100w in parallel?

That explains the low voc.

What battery?.

And is it below 80% soc?

Your screenshot shows 13.4v and lithium profile.

More pics of the battery, charger and cables will help

I take it you have a decent inverter too with all that power.

Do the batteries have an app to check soc?

Or have you got a shunt on the bank to get the overall soc of the pack?

With battery bank below 80%.

You should be able to get 50-100% of pmax for panels.

Can't see the spec of the panels in the screen shot.

So assuming they are cheaper unbranded panels... That normally gives lower pamx readings.

Got a proper link to see the spec?

Decent panels are normally around £1 per W upwards.

In parallel
That would mean voc at around 20v and a max current around 12-15A?

Have you got decent cable for the links to the controler and chassis ground.

Is it the ip67 version charger?... Or standard version?

Does the charger do the full 50A when engine running?
