Assume you mean bulkhead van side, ie behind the pedals etc, rather than the scuttle side in the engine bay?@Stay Frosty i would say sound deadening the bulkhead made a much bigger difference.

can somebody explain/picture of the scuttle is ....? is this the area exposed when you take the cover off the underside of bonnet, next job for me is the cab insulating and then some new seatsYes do as much as you can. And in the scuttle under the bonnet and fit the all important dust seals. It will make such a difference.
