At Slidepods we are working hard to provide our customers with a range of speaker upgrades to improve the lacklustre sound generated by the door speakers in the new T6. I will try to keep this thread updated regularly with each new product we can offer the T6 community hopefully it will lead to straightforward upgrades that can be DIY fitted at home or in our workshops if you prefer. :thumbsup:

Firstly we are going to offer our new design of door card speaker adaptors we make these from moisture resistant MDF and provide stainless fixings for them. They allow you to swap your 165mm speakers for a bigger 200mm speaker.
Our supplier of these is so impressed with these that they are ditching these cheap polish ones (Ebay link to poor quality one) and starting to supply ours instead. We are the source for these so can offer great prices on them just £19 posted including fixings

We can also offer them as part of a package with the BLAM 200RS which makes a great upgrade and with a bit of modding makes a great OEM look upgrade to the tweeters aswell :thumbsup:

Watching with interest. I have a new T6 on order and a speaker upgrade is one of the things I am interested in.
 
Ooooo OFC cable, reminds me I've got a few reels of that somewhere, have to sort the sounds on the van I suppose.. :eek::rolleyes::D:D
 
Not sure if the Highline has better speakers or what but mine sound really good and bass is ace! I don't want any louder as it would shake the doors to bits!
 
How about a kit with the 200mm collars and wiring adapters to save cutting the oem plugs ?

These would be for people who has purchased the speakers themselves :thumbsup:
 
I'm not sure how possible that would be as the OEM speaker has the female plug molded into the body of it :confused:. I will look into it buy I think once I post the "How to" you will see its not a big deal in the doors as there is no crimping or soldering needed.
We could do it on the tweeters mind :thumbsup:, there would obviously be a small charge.
We could even pre fit the tweeters to your "A" pillars if you popped them off and sent them to us it would take about 48 hours + weekends to turn them around once they arrived. This would make them 100% plug and play.
We are currently working on a plug and play harness to make adding rear speakers as easy as 1,2 .....4 :whistle:
 
For an extra £14.99 we can include the universal speaker grill we fit in customers vans pictured here. (please note the loom upgrade isnt included in the £159.99 price)
 
I thought the factory speakers were OK ,but I had them upgraded to focal speakers and tweeters all plug and play ,all door cards and doors done with silent coat .
What a difference it's 100% better
Definitely would recommend upgrading the speakers and tweeters.
 
Having only just had my T6, I was quite impressed with the sound from standard setup but I am looking to get them upgraded. The Audison & Hertz stuff looks good.
 
And the grand cheap total for the full monty inc loom upgrade including postage would be please.
