Speaking with Stanced uk direct I believe via my eBay account. Top and bottom is I have to pay for new front updated struts.
Try speaking with Venom, as I believe they’re the manufacturer, so you might get somewhere

Thanks Ads. Will try and locate them.
The phone number I rang was just one on their website (which I’ve linked to in my reply). Tell them your problem, that you’ve read on a Transporter forum that they’ve been helpful to other customers and ask whether they’ll exchange your units for the updated ones.. the mention of you discussing it on an open forum may be of benefit.

Let us know how you get on.

I have a camper conversion (T28) that weighs in at 2400kg.
The rear spring is at its highest ride setting and it’s compressed at the bottom.
The front is lowered about halfway down.
When I spoke to Venom Motorsport about this, they commented that my van was rather heavy and sent me taller springs to allow me to lift it.

For anyone else with / wanting Stance Ultra’s, a little update;
I’ve now had these taller springs fitted. I say taller - I didn’t see the old and the new side by side, so they may just be beefier. The ones that came with the original kit have a marking of SPC094, with the beefier ones being marked up with a 95 - which I think are from the Street kit.

Bizarrely the measurements show the van to be at the same height and it’s only subtly different in photos, but to the naked eye it’s definitely sitting higher.

Original Stance Ultra rear springs (94):

Taller Stance Ultra rear springs (95):

The main thing is that the ride is a lot more comfortable now.

Hats off to Venom Motorsport for the free replacements, they didn’t even want these old
springs back either

Right, so my Stance+ Ultra have been fitted.

Before lowering, I was sitting

This is a camper conversion, that includes an early HiLo roof, Cali bed on rails and MDF units. I’ve fitted 20mm spacers to the rear Sportlines (which are 8J).

Hello .. looking at the picture you have posted for the rear spring, i thought the black rubber washer\ring should be between the van floor and top of adjuster, not under the adjuster , looking at fitting a set on my van, many thanks

No idea mate, but it’s not creaking!

However I am looking at changing them for something better.

Ok, here goes. I'm looking for reviews and experiences from those who currently run Stance + coilovers.

I'm am debating (unless I get my current issue sorted) to get them. Bottom line is, that is all my budget can afford, so I can't consider the upper market ones such as B14's, SoLows, Koni's, etc.

I'm particularly keen to hear from those who have had them fitted for some time and from those who tow caravans.

We have a T30, with axle weights of 1600 front. and 1610 at the rear. I see that the Stance + can take up to 1710kg at rear.

I fully appreciate that there are other far more quality products and can or may do a far better job. I am looking at going no lower than 40-50 mm and keeping my Davenport's with no hub spacers.

Thanks all and stay safe.

Have a look at the post seventh down on this search result:

Thanks for the reply and pointing me to the info. I have read the whole thread twice, but just wanted more info as the original OP has given an update as to how they are getting on. Just wanted to know more from others

I’ve fitted my Stance+ coil overs whilst in lockdown. I’ve done around 800 miles in the van since fitted and I love them!

Cost was a major factor for me as I didn’t have silly money to spend. It took me long enough to convince the wife that they were needed without trying to convince her that I needed to spend £1000+ when all I got off her was “but it has suspension already”!

I’ve got a LWB with full camper conversion and 130 RIB, so the rear end was sagging - a lot! As my van’s a T28, it wallowed around corners, and my headlights pointed at the moon!

I went with a 70mm drop at the front and the rears are on the highest setting. This has given the van the perfect rake (IMO) and it now rolls a lot less in the corners. Updated ARB’s would stiffen it up loads more but I’ve not done that yet.

Overall, I’m really pleased with the stance, ride and feel of the van. The two year warranty is a plus point and I’ve updated my van to a T30 (although I’m sure the plod wouldn’t see it that way).

Thanks for the reply. Money is certainly a big factor and I would never be able to justify and afford any big brand coilovers or suspension set up. Stance + are certainly popular and maybe another mod for us. Thanks RichDavies82

My friends going stance so I was wondering if anybody has done a “how I done it” post as I have searched and the information on here is epic but I cannot find a post which I can show him

I’ve opted for steve @CRS Performance to for the konis to mine which I cannot wait for

Happy to write another review comparing both set ups if that’s helps however I’m going keeping my 55mm drop with the added comfort of the Konis, my mate wants a 90mm drop for looks with added comfort hopefully but will be better over the oem ride

The Stance will be better than OEM at normal drops but seriously doubt at 90 mm it will be . Happy to give that a go for him as i too would like to see how it fairs
