Absolutely stunning! What's the spec on those wheels please? Are the coilovers all the way down in these pics?
Hi these are the alloys I bought GENUINE ALUWERKS SPYDER SPORTLINE 18" ALLOYS + TYRES - VW TRANSPORTER T5/T6
The coil overs are gaged at 25mm wound up on the front and due to the added weight at the back 15mm wound on the back

Interesting thread and nice initial review.
I've never gone lower with my lwb 4mo multivan as I've been dubious of what happens when we're fully loaded for our summer trips away.
Anyone tried with a lwb 4mo?
Is there any difference the extra 400mm in length would have?
Thanks
Julian

Yes The practicality of a low vehicle is definitely a consideration I have a client who has just done a 5000 miles round Europe . on his return he asked me to lift the vehicle as he struggled with clearance . I realise everyone wants that great low low stance , but the down sides often out weigh this

No sure? I bought mine off stance EBay account! Had them installed yesterday and the front is noticeably higher, do these need settling time ? If yes how much time/mileage?

I have the same issue with mine, however I have found that Stance uk had changed the front coilovers due to what I’m told a lot of complaints that the fronts don’t sit low enough. These were changed near to the back end of 2019. I am in the process of trying to get a set of new fronts only from them at a cost, however it’s a little naughty that they continued to sell them if they had new lower updated ones in the pipeline.

Tell them your going to return them as there not fit for purpose

Cheers Andy,

I guess with them having a 2 year warranty I could go down that line. I did message them not long after I had them fitted voicing my concern about them not sitting as they should, there take was, we can sell you the ultra lows for the front for £200ish.

Only thing is to keep on at them
Advice them your going to the consumer protection
They won’t like the bad publicity
It will affect there sales eventually

Andy

Thanks Andy, I have spoken to PayPal too see if they can help. My frustration is I now have to buy a new updated set from them then the cost to have them fitted again. I am then left with another set of struts that are useless to me or anyone else. So in total I would have payed £780 just fo get the van how I initially wanted.

PayPal have stated they can open a resolution case, however car parts are a grey area but nevertheless they will be happy to deal with the issue.

I am puzzled a bit , Stance do 2 kits I think , one is normal coil over drops at about 300 Quid and the Plus for bigger drops at £ 600.00 . Which one did you buy ?? and what did you pay . the 2 kits look similar in spec but the threaded part of the body is lower on the more expensive kit. I also think one is silver one Black ?? not sure >

I purchased the Stance + for £300, however towards the back end of 2019 they brought out an updated version due to what I have been told was due to complaints the van doesn’t sit low enough.
The updated version have been threaded more to allow the suspension to go down to 85-90mm instead of the 70-75mm.

Having messaged back and fourth to stance, it’s a stalemate. Stance are saying that they updated there fronts so to still keep in the market, but the Ultra lows that are around £600 are still cheaper than any other coilover kit about. I don’t believe I’m the only person who has had this issue.

They have stated that the rear has plenty of adjustment to bring the van level with the front, surely that’s defeating the object of buying a coilover kit to go low. I’d have been better staying with my h&r 50mm springs I still have.

Well, if you decide to refit your h&r’s, give me a shout as I’ll take the Stance+ off your hands!

That’s bizarre - I spoke to Richard Baron about my rear (Ultra) springs being compressed under the weight of my camper and he went and sent me a taller replacement set free of charge, no arguing needed.

Are you speaking with Stanced UK / another supplier, or Venom Motorsport?

Speaking with Stanced uk direct I believe via my eBay account. Top and bottom is I have to pay for new front updated struts.
