STOLEN T6 !!!!!!!!!!!

Not fairly tales pal but the sad reality of the world today. And I would also prefer someone not to be injured just for a piece of metal no matter what action hero you think you are from watching cebeebies. There's been a few instances between Sheffield and Manchester area where its happened and to my work colleagues son who was threatened with a knife. So not fairly tales at all pal!! And just for the record I prefer the safety of my family above all else no matter what super hero stuff you come out with!
And there you go again making stuff up!
When did I say I was a have a go hero?
Pointless me leaving the keys on the stairs as I have a Ghost fitted.
So with latest thing being "beat the crap out of me whilst the others look for the key" wouldn't really work as they would have to wipe their feet, come back in and nurse be back to full health to get the PIN.

Truth is, I don't know what I would do, but give them the key and leg it out the house straight after them would be on my mind.

As for your work mates son being threatened with a knife, well that old prank has been going on since biblical times, so hardly new!

But you clearly stated one beating the crap out of you while the others look for the key - That is what I objected too!

A disgraceful thing for a copper to say, and a dumb thing to duplicate on here without evidence..

and now everyone knows
To be fair the thieves would already have known.
So many of our work vans have the professionally installed and well hidden trackers defeated in minutes. This was before you could buy gps jammers for a couple of quid.
Immobilisers don’t seem much of a problem either when we used to have those fitted.
Sure, these products will stop an opportunistic thief but then so does a Stoplock and being visible they are an early deterrent.
It’s been said many times before but layering security is your best option but nothing will ever stop a determined thief.
