Can vcds log things like boost pressure?
I reckon so.Can vcds log things like boost pressure?
have you actully driven it after doing the fuel filter to see if its any better or the same rather than just keep testing this that and the other you cant eliminate a dodgy fuel filter until you test run itI reckon so.
I'll check that too, after injectors.
You must have missed my post where I said how I checked the limiter with VCDS.As others have asked, regardless of the van struggling at 70, can you actually get it to exceed 70?
If 70 is a hard limit and you're simply assuming the limiter has been removed, you have to seriously question your assumption.
I'm pretty sure that the RAC fitted limiter will out rank the factory set one.I just checked with VCDS and the limiter is set to 200kph (now that would be nice but terrifying!)
It's just a case of plugging in vcds. Not a big deal. The motorway is half an hour's drive!have you actully driven it after doing the fuel filter to see if its any better or the same rather than just keep testing this that and the other you cant eliminate a dodgy fuel filter until you test run it
yes, it's been over 70 with a tail wind and a hill. It's not restricted.I missed the post where you're clarified whether you can go over 70.
Are you sure there's no method of restricting speed outside of VCDS?
but why bother checking anything else out if you get it on the motorway and find its fine and it's been a crudy filter all the time if its the same at least you have eliminated the filter as a problem and can look elsewhereIt's just a case of plugging in vcds. At last! Would have been useful info a few dozen posts back.yes, it's been over 70 with a tail wind and a hill.
because that would take an hour and a half and vcds takes 20 minbut why bother checking anything else out if you get it on the motorway and find its fine and it's been a crudy filter all the time if its the same at least you have eliminated the filter as a problem and can look elsewhere
My bad I didnt realize vcds tells you a filter is blockedbecause that would take an hour and a half and vcds takes 20 min
Sorry, I just thought people would understand "struggling at motorway speeds" as broader than 70mph. Which it is. If it quickly went up to 70, it would be clear that a limiter was the issue and I wouldn't be asking about how other people's vans perform. At last! Would have been useful info a few dozen posts back.
of course it doesn't. The motorway is half an hour away. The computer was already set up.My bad I didnt realize vcds tells you a filter is blocked

How fast are they supposed to go?
I have a single turbo T6 with a remap to 198hp.
Loads of low-down torque and power but it really works hard at 70mph.
What size, width & profile are your tyres? How fast are they supposed to go?

I do have chunky heavy wheels.
I'm curious to know what's normal or if I need to be investigating injectors and HPFP
