Hi all, bit of a strange one, battery dead on a 2023 T6.1 , hasn't been driven in about a month.

Van 100% dead, not a flicker.

Put 2 chargers on the battery and only showing a charge of 3.4 to 4.5v, confirmed with a multimeter. Battery date is 2022 so bit early but often had low temps recently upto minus 9c.

Guessing the battery has gone..? Normally covered by warranty?

On my old T6 I could fit a bigger battery, on the 6.1 the space looks smaller, anyone with the 6.1 fit a larger than standard battery?

Have you tried a smart charger with “Reconditioning mode”? You might be able to resurrect the battery, but it’s probably toast.

I wouldn't leave any vehicle 4 weeks without at least starting it up and doing a 10 mile run, or, using a battery maintainer.

As an update, using a victron smart charger and after about 36hrs on recondition mode, the battery reached storage status. Left it few hours and at 12.8v , next morning still at 12.8v. It started fine and so far has been OK. Some colder weather expected soon so let's see. Jump leads now in van as a worst case, get me home scenario.

Look at getting your own jump pack.

Instead of jump leads.
