T6.1 new order delays

Brexit is making me worry........ I have been told I won’t pay a penny more than the charges on the order confirmation, but I’m not 100% easy that this will be the case if the delivery is impossible before April!

I was told the same, I may try and get it in writing from the dealers that I will only pay the price I agreed. Trouble is they haven't actually said in no uncertain terms thats regardless of the Brexit situation. They could just be referring to the price of the van itself. I guess until I take it from the dealers technically they are importing it not me.

I am concerned as I have 2 panel vans on order! One is a 199 4 motion t32 swb high line ordered in mid august and one is a 199 t30 lwb high line ordered at the end of October!
I don’t know if the delays apply regardless if spec, but I am certainly worried about any additional charges being levied for both vehicles.
 
Just had a build date for my T30 150 DSG ordered in Sept; 1st week in Jan.
Thankfully a Brexit deal is done and wont need to cancel as there wont be import taxes to pay. I see a lot of dealers have been mixing up 'honouring prices' and import taxes. They are not the same thing.
Id get ordering quick if you want a new one, VW will be passing on price hikes because of all the new red tape from Jan 1st.

Fingers crossed for you good news for Christmas.
 
You should see it before that. Las week I was told about 3 or 4 weeks from build to delivery. Unescorted freight isn’t being impacted much at ports, so you ought to see it by early/mid Feb

The dealer has offered to register on a March plate, so ill take that
 
Another happy owner!! Keep them coming VW, plenty more people eagerly awaiting a new van
 
It should be a compulsory requirement to state when a van was first ordered, when showing images of lovely new vans!
Itching for mine to come!
