I had another chat with "Rob" on the live chat today, he spoke to the specialist order team who said that VW are fully committed with current builds up to week 12, And because I have selected 17 options, I wont see a firm build week ( just the date that is) planned much before 3rd week in Feb, Lucky if I see it in April at this rate. Ordered 22/9/20
They go out to the market and get the best price. It will be an authorised VW dealer. I bought mine through Karen at autoebid in October, comms have been great with her and the dealer. It is now in the UK and being delivered to me next week

Just curious on whether you paid the extra £100 to get a better deal. I know they offer this and wondered whether there was any merit in it?
I did, but it didn't help the price. The price I was originally quoted was the best they could get. That said, it was then refunded off my purchase anyway.
So, it is a no brainer once you have decided to buy, try it as you get the money back off the purchase.

Received a phone call yesterday to say my van’s on the ship over and when did I want to collect it. I’ve still left it for 1st March as the conversion company is booked in for the first week of March and not too bothered about driving an un-lined panel van with no bulkhead! (still keeping the Audi).
It is totally mental that in the time it takes between "ordering" and "receiving" a vehicle from Volkswagen, a member of this forum can obtain "T6 Pro" status! I've not even got a van yet!

The trader is keeping it now till March the 1st, as I’ve decided to delay registration till then.
